Why are the X pods longer than the original STLTH pods?

a) this is to ensure that the absorbent material fits in the pod, and you still get the 2ml of e-liquid! 

How do I know when the pod is finished? 

a) The absorbent material appears darker when the pod is full; so when the absorbent material appears white that means that the pod is done and it’s time for a new one!
